Beath Foundation pledges $10,000 in matching donations to Richmond Animal League

?

For the second time in two years, the Beath Foundation yesterday committed another $10,000 to match donations of $100 or more made to the Richmond Animal League (RAL). As a privately run shelter that receives no funding from governmental agencies, RAL depends on the generosity and support of the greater Richmond community to continue its mission of saving lives by providing hope, help, and homes for animals in need.

Organized by Jessica Beath in 1991, the Beath Foundation provides financial assistance to organizations with specific charitable purposes?especially the general welfare and protection of animals. Beath Foundation trustees believe that RAL?s operations promote the primary purpose of Jessica Beath?s legacy.?

The Foundation?s ongoing generosity and support will double the value of $10,000 in general donations made to RAL through the end of this year.

Donations can be made online at ral.org, or mailed to the shelter directly at 11401 International Drive, Richmond VA, 23236.
